News: Missing man might be connected to SUV that drove off pier in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – According to WAVY, a missing man may be connected with the SUV that drove off the Virginia Beach Fishing Pier on Saturday.

The missing man’s family contacted the Virginia Beach Police Department, and the case shares similarities to the incident on the pier.

The sonar images of the SUV from the submersible the police used have not been able to see if there was a license plate attached to the SUV. The photos did show the SUV was on its roof and unstable.

Diving teams have still been unable to perform recovery operations on the SUV due to treacherous conditions.
