News: Authorities charge woman with fatal crash on Chesapeake Blvd in Norfolk

NORFOLK, VA – Authorities have charged a woman with a deadly crash that happened on the 6900 block of Chesapeake Blvd on Saturday, according to WAVY.

The 29-year-old female driver struck a concrete pole around 4:38 a.m. The car then caught on fire.

Rescue crews transported a 29-year-old female passenger to an area hospital, where she died.

Authorities charged the driver with Involuntary Manslaughter DUI Related.

The driver is being held without bond.
