News: Alleged impaired driver crashes into 2 other vehicles on I-264

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – According to 13 News Now, a suspected impaired driver collided with two other vehicles on I-264 near Rosemont Rd Monday.

The 88-year-old male drove an Audi east in the westbound lanes when he hit a For transit van and  Nissan Sentra.

Rescue crews transported the 88-year-old man and his passenger to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The other two drivers were not hurt in the crash.

Authorities charged the 88-year-old man with DUI.

The Virginia State Police is investigating the incident.
