News: Virginia Beach Accident School Bus Collision

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A school bus collision unfolded Thursday morning, resulting in one bus crashing into a house after being struck by another at 28th Street and Marshall Avenue around 8:34 a.m. Despite the severity of the incident, both buses reported no major injuries, with one carrying 11 children bound for Deer Park Elementary.
Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered one bus on the house’s porch, while the other displayed front-end damage at the intersection. As authorities continue their investigation into the collision, a citation has been issued to the driver of the bus transporting students, allegedly for running a red light.
