News: Pedestrian hit, killed by vehicle while walking bike in Virginia Beach
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — One person died last Friday night, December 1, after a pedestrian crash in west Virginia Beach, according to WAVY.
The fatal incident occurred in the 4800 block of Virginia Beach Boulevard at around 7:30 p.m.
Virginia Beach Police said that the male pedestrian was walking his bicycle across the road when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle.
First responders pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. His identity has not been disclosed as of this writing.
Neither the driver nor their passenger was reported hurt, and both remained at the scene for an investigation.
The VBPD’s Traffic Safety Unit continues to lead the case.
