News: Man, 61, killed in crash on Salem Rd. in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – A single-vehicle crash in the Princess Anne area claimed the life of a driver on Saturday afternoon.

According to a report by WAVY, the crash occurred in the 2500 block of Salem Road, near Landstown Road at about 3:15 p.m.

The driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 61-year-old man, sustained fatal injuries in the crash.

While investigations into the incident are ongoing, initial findings suggest that speed may have played a significant role in the accident.
