News: Child seriously injured in pedestrian accident on Church St. in Norfolk

NORFOLK, VA – A young child was rushed to the hospital after they were hit by a vehicle in Norfolk’s Olde Huntersville neighborhood on Tuesday evening.

According to a report by 13 News Now, the victim was hit when they stepped out into the 1700 block of Church Street, between C and B Avenues at about 5:20 p.m.

The 7-year-old child was rushed to the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters to be treated for serious, potentially life-threatening injuries. No updates regarding their condition are available at this time.

Investigators are working to establish an official cause of the crash.
