News: Boy hit, seriously hurt by vehicle on Laskin Rd in Virginia Beach
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — A boy was hospitalized Wednesday night following a serious injury pedestrian crash in Virginia Beach, according to 13NewsNow.
Virginia Beach Police say the incident occurred on the eastbound lanes of Laskin Road, between Village Drive and Republic Road.
The circumstances behind the event was not immediately clear, but the juvenile was rushed to an area hospital after being struck by a vehicle.
Authorities have not disclosed the extent of the victim’s injuries, or indicated whether the driver remained at the scene.
A section of Laskin Road was shut down during the response and investigation but was reopened by 7:30 p.m.
