News: Accident delays traffic on I-264 EB near Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — Authorities were called to a collision early Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 264 near west Virginia Beach, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The collision occurred on the eastbound lanes of I-264 at mile marker 12.7, just west of the I-64 interchange. It was first recorded by VDOT at 12:22 p.m.

Little information has been made available at this time, but motorists were warned of delays impacted the area, as the eastbound outside exit 14A was narrowed following the crash.

Local agencies have confirmed the amount of vehicles involved or whether anyone was injured.
