News: Accident closes eastbound Western Branch Blvd in NW Chesapeake
CHESAPEAKE, VA — Part of eastbound Western Branch Boulevard was blocked Thursday afternoon in northwest Chesapeake due to a collision, according to Chesapeake Roads.
The collision took place in the 3100 block of Western Branch Boulevard and was first reported shortly before 1:51 p.m.
Little information has been released, but all eastbound lanes were closed in the area, forcing traffic to divert onto Poplar Hill Road.
By 3:03 p.m., over an hour later, the scene had been cleared, leaving all lanes open to traffic.
