New: Driver fatally collides with another vehicle near Ingleside Elementary School

NORFOLK, VA – A driver fatally struck another vehicle at E Virginia Beach Blvd and Ingleside Rd on Wednesday, according to WAVY.

The 50-year-old male driver collided with a flatbed truck at the stop light around 7 a.m.

Rescue crews pronounced the 50-year-old driver dead at the scene. It is unclear if the flatbed truck driver was hurt in the crash.

The Norfolk Police Department Auto Squad Unit and Traffic Fatality Team is investigating the incident.
