News: VBPD investigates crash, closing two lanes near west Virginia Beach business
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — Two westbound lanes of Virginia Beach Boulevard in west Virginia Beach were blocked Wednesday afternoon following a crash, reports WAVY.
Virginia Beach Police said the collision took place near Haynes Furniture Store, prompting the partial closure of westbound Virginia Beach Boulevard between Nelms Lane to Davis Street.
It was not immediately clear what circumstances led up to the accident, but motorists were urged to avoid the scene due to heavy police activity impacting the area.
An investigation was underway. As of this writing, officials have not disclosed the types of vehicles involved or any potential injuries.
