News: Rollover crash near Salem Elementary kills 53-year-old man

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – A rollover crash in the Salem area claimed the life of a man from Virginia Beach early Saturday.

According to WAVY, a vehicle veered off of Salem Road while approaching the curve near Salem Lakes Boulevard at about 2:13 a.m. and overturned.

The driver, a 53-year-old man, died at the crash scene.

Investigators believe wet road conditions and speed each played a role in the deadly crash.
