Driver Trapped After Crashing Into Tree on Dam Neck Road in Early Morning Crash [VIRGINIA BEACH, VA]

A driver was trapped inside a vehicle and required extrication by emergency crews after crashing into a tree on Dam Neck Road in Virginia Beach in the early morning hours of Tuesday, September 9, 2026, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department. Officers responded to the 2300 block of Dam Neck Road at approximately 1:25 a.m. and found the driver pinned inside the vehicle following the single-vehicle crash. A paramedic provided care to the driver from inside the vehicle while the Virginia Beach Fire Department and Virginia Beach EMS worked to free them.
