News: Crossing guard seriously injured in crash near Great Bridge High School

CHESAPEAKE, VA – A crossing guard was hospitalized this morning after being hit by a vehicle outside of Great Bridge High School.

According to a report by 13 News Now, the unidentified crossing guard was directing traffic when she was hit by a vehicle leaving the school’s campus on Wildcat Parkway at about 8:30 a.m.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.
