VBFD dispatched crews to the scene at 3:30 p.m. arriving four minutes later to confront a fully engulfed shed and fence. Skillfully bringing the fire under control by 3:51 p.m., the incident resulted in severe exterior damage to the home and substantial smoke damage inside.
Remarkably, the home was unoccupied during the blaze, and there were no reported injuries. However, the two adults and their pets now find themselves displaced, with the Red Cross providing assistance.
